Habit Lab Journal About
In development

You already know something needs to change.

An evidence-based programme, in your language, for understanding why you drink or use — and taking back control.

A woman looking thoughtfully into the distance

Understanding first. Then everything else.

Eight weeks, grounded in the science of habits. No labels. No single path you have to commit to.

You get an honest picture of why you drink or use, and the tools to do something about it.

What you leave with

Some much-needed clarity.

01

A clear picture of your patterns

Most people have never looked at what actually drives their use. You'll finish Reset knowing yours.

02

The biology of what's happening

Addiction is not a character flaw. Knowing what your brain is doing changes how you deal with it.

03

A system that holds up

Not rules. Not willpower. Tools built around how your brain actually behaves.

Inside a week

One lesson at a time. Each ends with something to practice.

Read it, hear it, watch it

Every lesson is written, recorded and filmed. Take it whichever way the day allows.

A worksheet a day

Each lesson closes with a short reflective worksheet. That’s where it stops being reading.

Company, if you want it

A community for people going through Reset at the same time. Join it or skip it; the programme works either way.

What actually works.

Reset uses three approaches with strong evidence behind them: cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing and relapse prevention. All three work by changing what surrounds a behaviour, not by asking you to want it less.

You don't have to call yourself an addict to start. You don't have to stop drinking to start either. Those are decisions you can make later, with better information.

If you or someone you know is in immediate crisis, please contact a local emergency service or crisis helpline. Reset is an educational programme and is not a substitute for emergency medical or psychiatric care.
